Snorkeling and Diving
Some of the best reefs in the world. You can do it yourself, or there
are several experienced dive operators available for tours, excursions,
training, certification, and charter.
The three best reefs for snorkeling & diving are Sandy Cay Reef, Fowl Cay Reef, and Johnnys Cay.
Sandy Cay Reef and Fowl Cay have mooring balls for small boats.
There are numerous off-the-beaten-path spots for snorkeling in shallow or protected areas. An awesome underwater experience awaits you as you mingle with the Sea of Abacos colorful marine life.
Island Adventuring
Many islands (some uninhabited) offer opportunities for exploring,
swimming, picnicking, and snorkeling. You can discover unique beach bars
and casual dining experiences. Elbow Cay, with its shops, restaurants,
lighthouse, and Atlantic beaches is only 15 minutes away.
