Some have docks with boat lifts, others with slips in the marina. The South end has a network of gravel and sand roads easily traversed with golf carts. The North and Central Island offer a more secluded life with some homes having access from "Sea to Sea" stretching right across the Island, and others have a cluster of homes sharing docks often with boat lifts.

Village life in the South end ensures a supportative community, however for those that prefer solstice, the North and Central affords that.
There is one Restaurant on Lubbers, Lubbers Landing (there was two and it may re-open soon).
